AIM Report Demo Subscription
How can I access a free trial of the AIM Report?
I2SL offers a free “Demo” version of the AIM Report software. You can subscribe to the Demo via the LBT website at https://lbt.i2sl.org. The Demo version includes all of the features of a “Full” (i.e., paid) AIM Report subscription, except that Demo users have access to only a limited number of energy conservation measures. To use the Demo, you must also agree to the AIM Report Software Terms of Service.
How long does the Demo subscription last?
Demo access does not expire, but can be revoked at I2SL’s discretion or if plan offerings change. You can cancel your Demo access at any time via the My Account page at https://lbt.i2sl.org. Your AIM packages and reports will not be deleted, and you can restore access to them if you resubscribe to the Demo version.
How does the Demo version differ from the Full AIM Report software subscription?
The Demo version includes all of the features of a Full paid subscription, except that you can only view the energy savings and costs for a limited selection of energy conservation measures, and you can only add this limited selection of measures to packages.
Paid Subscription Types and Management
Can I switch between monthly and annual plans?
To switch between plan types, simply cancel your current subscription and resubscribe to a new subscription plan once the original plan expires.
Can I transfer my subscription to someone else?
Monthly AIM subscriptions are not transferable. Annual AIM Report software subscriptions can be transferred once per year. Please contact Labs2Zero@i2sl.org with any requests for subscription transfers.
Can I share a subscription with someone else?
No, your username and password should not be shared with anyone else.
What is the difference between the Full AIM plan and the Custom plan shown on the AIM Report subscription page?
Both of these options offer access to the same AIM Report software package. The difference is in the payment method: Full subscriptions can be paid for via the LBT website, with immediate access to AIM upon payment, while Custom subscribers receive direct invoices from I2SL (via a payment processing system). Custom subscriptions are intended to be used for special billing situations such as multi-user accounts or redemption of sponsor offers. These plans are offered on an annual basis only.
What happens to my AIM Report PDFs and packages of measures when my paid AIM subscription expires?
When your subscription expires, your subscription automatically switches to a Demo plan. You retain access to any reports you previously created, and you can view packages that you had created using the paid version. However, you will no longer have access to any measures that are not available in the Demo version. Packages containing these additional measures cannot be edited, and you cannot export reports from them. If you resubscribe to a paid version, your access to these measures and packages will be restored.
Billing and Payment
Where can I get more information about pricing?
Please see this article for more information about pricing and subscriptions.
How do I access the pricing and payment page?
To access the AIM Report software payment page, you must be logged into your account on I2SL’s Lab Benchmarking Tool, https://lbt.i2sl.org. If you do not have an LBT account, please create one; it’s free, and you do not need to have already entered building data to start an AIM Report software subscription. You can also refer to this article for more information about pricing and subscriptions.
How do I cancel my paid subscription?
Most AIM subscriptions can be canceled via the LBT website. From the My Account page, click on the Manage Subscription button to start the process. If your subscription is a Custom subscription, please contact Labs2Zero@i2sl.org to make changes or cancel. In order to take effect at the end of the current billing period, cancellations must be made before the subscription renewal date.
Can I pause my subscription temporarily?
Pausing subscriptions is not possible. However, you may cancel and resubscribe later.
If I cancel my subscription, will I still have access until the end of the billing period?
Yes, your AIM Report software access will continue until the end of the paid billing cycle, (either monthly or annually). At the end of the billing cycle, your account will switch to the Demo version of the AIM Report software.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards. For payments over US$4,000, we also accept ACH payments; information about how to pay via ACH will be provided with your custom invoice.
Do you charge sales tax or VAT?
No sales tax or VAT is automatically applied to AIM Report subscription charges.
Is my payment information secure?
Yes. I2SL uses Stripe checkout and invoicing services to securely handle all AIM subscription payments. No credit card information is shared with I2SL or with the AIM website.
What if I only want to purchase one month of access?
To purchase a single month of access, please purchase a monthly subscription, then cancel before the subscription renewal date.
What if I don’t want my subscription to auto-renew?
To avoid automatic renewal charges, please cancel your subscription before the renewal date. Note that Custom subscriptions (those for which I2SL issues a custom invoice) do not auto-renew.
How do I update my billing information or credit card?
Most AIM Report software users can update their payment information via the My Account page on the Lab Benchmarking Tool (click the Manage Subscription button on that page). Custom subscribers must contact Labs2Zero@i2sl.org to make changes.
Do you offer refunds?
Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis and are granted only under certain circumstances. Please contact Labs2Zero@i2sl.org within seven days of a charge for which you wish to be refunded, including a copy of your invoice or receipt.
I was charged for AIM Report software without authorizing it—what should I do?
Please contact Labs2Zero@i2sl.org immediately to review and resolve the issue. To dispute any charge, please submit your dispute details to I2SL with a copy of your invoice or receipt.
Can I get a refund if I cancel my annual plan early?
Refunds are generally not provided for unused periods on annual subscriptions, but you will retain access to the AIM Report software for the full year of the paid term.
Will I be reminded before my annual subscription renews?
Yes. Users will receive reminder emails in advance of plan auto-renewal.
Discounts and Codes
How do I use a promotional code to subscribe to the AIM Report software at a discount?
Discount codes should be entered on the checkout screen. The checkout screen is reached by clicking “Get Started” on the Full AIM section of the AIM Subscription page. To obtain the current discount code for I2SL members, please refer to any relevant promotional emails shared by I2SL or to the Member Discount Corner on the right hand side of your I2SL Member Portal. If you believe that a discount code should apply to you but have not received the code, please contact Labs2Zero@i2sl.org to obtain the relevant code.
What happens if I subscribed to the AIM Report software while I wasn’t an I2SL member, but now I am?
You may contact Labs2Zero@i2sl.org to request that we add any applicable discount to your next scheduled renewal charge.
Can I use more than one promotional code?
No, you can only use one promotional code at a time. Promotional codes do not stack.
How long is the introductory discount offer valid for?
The introductory discount offer is valid until November 30, 2025. The discount applies to your first billing period (one month or one year, as applicable). After the first billing period, I2SL will adjust your renewal billing rate to use any applicable ongoing discounts that apply to your account (for example, an I2SL Member discount).
I’m a sponsor wishing to redeem a free AIM Report software subscription. How should I do that?
Please contact Labs2Zero@i2sl.org to activate your free sponsor subscription. Please include in your email a note of the email address associated with your LBT account. We will need this in order to activate your subscription.
Multi-User Subscriptions
How can I purchase a subscription for several users?
To purchase a multi-user subscription, you must purchase a Custom subscription. Discounts are available for multi-user subscriptions. Please contact Labs2Zero@i2sl.org for pricing and next steps.
How is billing handled for multi-user accounts?
Multi-user plans are billed annually by I2SL via custom invoices. There is no automatic renewal of these plans; new invoices will be issued by I2SL prior to the plan expiration date.
How do I add or remove users from my multi-user plan?
I2SL assists with user management for multi-user plans. Upon initial plan purchase, I2SL will request the email addresses of the users who should be added as subscribers under the new plan. These email addresses should be the same as those used for the users’ LBT accounts. After initial plan assignments, the owner of the multi-user plan should contact Labs2Zero@i2sl.org with any requests for changes.
